WICCON is committed to providing a safe and welcoming place for everyone. Harassment, discrimination, or disrespectful behaviour in any form will not be tolerated.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Verbal abuse or offensive comments
Unwanted physical contact
Sexual harassment
Intimidation or stalking
Disrespecting personal boundaries or ignoring consent
Discriminatory jokes, slurs, or gestures
We believe everyone deserves to feel safe and respected and everyone shares that responsibility.
Privacy & Consent
We’re here to share and connect. But always with respect for each other’s boundaries. Remember that consent is not optional.
Don’t touch anyone or anyone’s things without getting a clear “yes.”.
If someone says no, respect that. No questions asked.
Never share someone’s personal info without permission.
Photo Policy
Ask consent when taking recognizable photos of participants in frame.
Groups & individuals participating in public on stage (talks or workshops) are allowed to be photographed unless they tell you otherwise.
Smart glasses and other devices that can record audio or video with no consistent way to understand if they're recording or not, are prohibited at WICCON, they erode trust and invade people's privacy.
If you need help or want to report something:
Talk to any volunteer or organizer. We’re all briefed and ready to help.
If you prefer, you can call or send a private message (text, Whatsapp or Signal) to our designated safety person. The phone number will be provided at the event.
You don’t need proof and it doesn’t have to be a big incident. We will listen, take you seriously, and handle things with care and discretion. Taking any appropriate actions.
Let’s build a space that doesn’t just avoid harm, but actively supports each other.
Only the good kind of creepy vibes. No passive aggression. Just community, care, and badass tech.
WICCON reserves the right to remove any participant, found not respecting this code, from the premises.
